Our private business #valuation module showcased!

We are very happy to share our first private company valuation using the example of #Aldi – the German family-owned discount supermarket chain.

Our own #analysts took a quick dive into the limited financial data available and calculated their enterprise value using the Valutico private market tool.

Aldi has lost shares of the grocery market, for the first time in more than a decade.

No doubt that the pandemic has been disruptive for them. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact they do not offer online delivery but only recently ‘click & collect’.

Online retailers have thrived over the course of the year whilst main street stores remained closed, with some permanently shutting down.

-> EV – (DCF – WACC): 139 EUR Billion
